Dreaming of summer skirts

These days we love the weather! I was off from school really early today and I was in the mood to go to the second-hand shop. I bought two fantastic pieces of fabric from which I would like to make a skirt and a short. I will try to make a photo of the fabric tomorrow ( if I don't forget). I also bought a lot of cards for postcrossing and a really old make up book with vintage pictures.
In the first period this morning a friend gave me a late birthday present : the album "sigh no more-mumford and sons" It is music I have to get used to, but at least one number is already my favourite.

Happy birthday to me!

Yesterday was my official birthday! I didn't feel like it was my birthday because I already celebrated it saturday. Today I got a late birthday present, a bag for the craft swap. The bag I sent arrived aswell.

Book junkie

I am a book addict as well and I really want to share the book I finished reading today. ( I read the last 100 pages in my free hours on school and I looked like a zombie.) It was a fantastic book and everyone should read it! "jij tegen mij" or "you against me" from jenny downham.The story is about family, friends and trust and exciting till the last page! I also read her first book "voor ik doodga" "Before I die" Which is an absolute must reader as well.

Okay, now there are no excuses anymore to go tidy up my room!

Conversations to remember

I think you all know it, you have a lot to do,  you just need to start on it and then you get distracted. This time I was distracted by a phonecall of a lovely friend. We have been on the phone for more than one and a half hour. It was a lovely conversation but the problem is that I still have to do all that things. Tomorrow I am celebrating my birthday. And I came to the conclusion that I hate birthdays, cause I have to tidy up my room, decide on what to buy for drinks, cake and all things you expect to be there on a birthday. And you also have to invite people, who ofcourse never say if they are planning on coming or not. But ofcourse when then it is the birthay everything is great.

Obsessed

Testweek is over! The results aren't slashing, but it is finally over. To celebrate it, I have been doing nothing for school this afternoon, instead I made another bag. I'am afraid I am a little obsessed with them now. unfortunately this one didn't work out that good. It is a little weird shaped.

Yesterday I wanted to start on it, but I didn't have good fabric and we don't have a craft store near by my house. So I used fabric from a cushion sleeve I bought for €0.99 at "Zeeman". Which made me absolutely happy!

I can't wait to start on another project, so if anyone has suggestions feel free to comment.

Seeing people smile makes me happy!

I want to forget this week as soon as possible, I had testweek which ends tomorrow and I really screwed up everything. I hope the results won't be too bad.

Now something better, I finished a bag I was working on. The first bag I ever made and I am so proud of it. I made it for a craftswap on a forum so unfortunately I can't keep it. Something that also makes me happy is my new jacket. I told you about it last week and I bought it this saturday. I am totally happy with it.

Tomorrow is the last day of my testweek and then it is waiting for the results!

Walking gets too boring, when you learn how to fly!

Today I have to study for my testweek which starts tomorrow, and if I have to study, I'm going to do every possible other thing first. I went to a sick friend, I went skating and I made a lookbook (http://lookbook.nu/irizzzl) while I still actually have to study.
