Really bad blogger

It happens me every time again. When my life is being very busy and hectic. I just can't blog, not only I don't have time for it, I also don't have anything to blog about. A lot happened in my life the past months.I turned 18 in April.I graduated high school in June! So happy! In July I went to france and I've been working on a camp site for 6 weeks. In August I went to the Lowlands festival. And last but nog least, in September I started on a new school. Which is ArtEZ in Arnhem, where I do a study to be a theatre teacher. The study is really amazing and I'm so happy I was allowed to start the study.

Well, I'm sorry I didn't report all this things to my blog. I'm not sure if I will report al the things that will come in the near future, but I'll try.

For my study I need to see a lot of theatre plays. The first one I saw with school was "de Prateur 2012". This is a play which is performed at different places in the city Arnhem. Professional actors and amateur actors and dancers perform. It was really special to see. 

This morning I saw the children´s play `Klein duimpje´. It was a really modern version, and I really liked it. It is aimed at children around the age of 5 years old, but because we have to make our own children´s play we need to see a couple of them. So if you like theatre and you have little brothers, sisters or nephews you might like it!

Who opened the glitters?

Very long ago I posted something about the golden glitterfloor at the toilets of the cinema in Breda. Yesterday me and my dad went to Cinerama. Guess what I found there when I went to the toilets? A violet glitterfloor! That really made my day, I'm now still wondering if it would be able to have such a floor when I have my own place in the future.

The movie we've seen was as good as the toiletfloor: Extreely loud and incredibly close. If you haven't seen it yet, you really should. 

Blurry future

This have been an extremely busy week for me. I didn't feel well and I even stayed home from school wednesday to get better. Thursday I had to get up really early ( read: half past five!) to go to Utrecht. There were the auditions for the study I really love to do next year called theatre and education. It was an amazing day, and I learned a lot. Unfortunately I didn't make it through to the next round so I am not going to do that study next year. I'm really dissapointed of course and I am now doubting about what to do next year.

Today I went skating with a friend because the weather was so wonderful! it really felt like spring. We skated 26 kilometres and we want a little applause for that. To remain the springfeeling I want to share a song with you. It's from an irish singer-songwriter who is going to perform on Lowlands 2012.

Ready for summer!

This weekend I followed an "animatietraining" from de Animatie Compagnie. During the weekend we learned a lot about the work on campings and they judged us. The weekend was amazing! I've danced my butts of played a lot of theatre. To make it even more exciting I got mail yesterday that they want to hire me! So I've got a summer job! I don't know yet on which camping but probably it will be in france!

Yesterday I decided to tidy up my closet because there are a lot of clothes that don't fit and I never wear anymore, and it's a shame it stays in my closet unused. Some of them are clothes that really don't fit any more, but it hurts too much to throw them away! (I'm too sentimental I know!) However I did manage to fill a big bag of clothes that I give away to someone at school who collects clothes for those who are less fortunate.

 I have to admit that this skirt already lay in my closet for one year  untouched and I really have to realise now that size 36 is way past;) It's a shame

So I didn't really do a lot interesting apart from learning french words for a test this friday and listening to the same song over and over again.

Right now I'm lying in my bed because I'm to tired to do anything. The reason: Carnaval! Sounds like fun? Wel, it was! And above all, a lot of nice pictures were made of us in our lovely costumes.

My theatreproduction ended, so that means I won't be having it so busy anymore. It also means I can pierce my ears again and dye my hair. So that is exactly what I will be doing soon. In a week we have autumn holiday and I am planning to dye my hair again then. This time I want it red!

Thursday night I felt like a girl in an american highschool movie. Me and my friends went to a rollerdisco! More than driving rounds wasn't possible for me but there were people who were really good in dancing on rollerskates and that was so cool to see! I turned out to be best in making spectacular crashes!

Pink-back-love

In the last week, all of my bags broke down and now I am taking this fluorpink eastpack to school. It is really pink, but I do like it. I do like it now even more because I let my friend draw and write on it. The result: a really cool "backhugging" backpack!

Where was I when the rockets came to life?

I'm still living like it was that weekend in August when everything was different in "Biddinghuizen" where Lowlands found place. Unfortunately I have to wait a whole year, till it is again. Today I've had lunch with a friend at a very good turkish place. We both had feta-cheese omellete and it tasted so good! Offcourse the weather also helped, because The sun was shining all day!

I saw this video on tv today and although I don't really like the song, the video is really amazing!

Some people wear their history, just like a map on their face

The weather has been really awful whole day long. Actually already for a couple of days. Lately I've been busy with my "profielwerkstuk" for school a lot. It is a big project which counts for your school exams. I want to focus on theatre, the way you play emotions and what the audience really wants to see. Today I also got really excited about the plans a friend and I are making. We want to go skiing together somwhere in the christmas holiday: excited!

The photo's are from sunday morning, when I still thought it was going to be good weather. I am still finding out a way to make good photo's of myself, but didn't succeed yet.

Oh and one last thing, on some blogs you may find shoplogs quite often. (Hopefully for me) you won't find any on mine, cause I'm trying not to buy any clothes for a whole year. I am on three months now so I still have 9 to go. If I manage to stick with this idea, a friend of mine will take me to dinner, but if I do buy something I will take her out for dinner!

There's snow on my screen

This weekend I have to play three shows and tonight we played the first one. I'm so tired, but it was so much fun! I can't wait till I'm on that stage again tomorrow. Today I picked the photo's of Lowlands and unfortunately the most pictures failed. When I saw such a failed photo when I was younger, I always screamed "It is snowing!"
